A fine example of the Colonial “New World” bakelite globe radio. Designed by Raymond Loewy and manufactured by Colonial Radio Company of Buffalo, NY Ca. 1934. The brown bakelite base and globe enclosures are in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The gilded map graphics are in excellent condition and the radio is complete with the original knobs and steel bottom plate. This radio works very well. Overall this is a prime example of this unique radio.
